Solved. (“Solved”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates exclusively as an independent PSP Agent/Broker. Solved is legally established in Germany and provides business-to-business (B2B) referral and matchmaking services between merchants and regulated payment service providers (“PSPs”).
This page provides a detailed legal notice and disclaimer applicable under German law, including but not limited to:

2. Legal Status: Solved is Not a Payment Institution
Solved is not a payment institution and does not provide payment services within the meaning of:
✤ § 1 and § 2 ZAG (Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz)
✤ Directive (EU) 2015/2366 (PSD2)
Accordingly:
✤ We do not process transactions.
✤ We do not hold, store, or manage client funds.
✤ We do not issue payment instruments.
✤ We do not provide merchant acquiring services.
✤ We do not perform technical, operational, or financial settlement.
✤ We do not enter into PSP/merchant contracts on behalf of either party.
Our role is strictly limited to referral and information services.
3. No Crypto Services, No Digital Asset Activities
While some of our partner PSPs may offer optional services in connection with digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrency processing solutions), Solved itself:
✤ does not accept cryptocurrency payments;
✤ does not process crypto transactions;
✤ does not integrate crypto wallets or blockchains;
✤ does not provide custodial or non-custodial wallet services;
✤ does not trade, exchange, broker, or promote cryptocurrencies;
✤ does not participate in crypto KYC, KYT, AML monitoring, or chain analysis;
✤ does not advise on crypto investments or digital assets;
✤ does not offer tokens, coins, NFTs, or blockchain-based products.
Any merchant choosing a PSP that offers crypto-processing does so directly with that PSP, outside the scope of Solved.
4. Scope of Services Provided by Solved
Solved provides the following services exclusively:
- PSP Referral Services ✤ Assessing merchant needs ✤ Recommending suitable PSP options ✤ Facilitating introductions between merchants and PSPs
- Informational Support ✤ Providing documentation, explanations, or non-binding assessments ✤ Clarifying PSP offerings and comparisons ✤ Managing communication between merchant and PSP where requested
- Non-binding Consultation ✤ Business analysis for PSP selection ✤ No financial, legal, tax, or regulatory advice
Solved does not execute PSP onboarding, integration, risk evaluation, underwriting, or compliance verification on behalf of any party.
5. No Legal, Financial, or Tax Advice
All information provided by Solved—whether on the website, via email, or through consultations—is strictly of a general and informational nature.
Nothing provided by Solved constitutes:
✤ Legal advice (§ 6 RDG – Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz)
✤ Financial or investment advice
✤ Tax advice
✤ Regulatory or compliance advice
Merchants must seek independent professional counsel before engaging with PSPs or launching payment services.
Solved assumes no liability for decisions made based on the information provided.
6. Third-Party Services and Liability
Solved collaborates exclusively with independent third-party PSPs that are responsible for their own:
✤ onboarding procedures
✤ KYC/KYB due diligence
✤ AML/CTF obligations
✤ transaction processing
✤ fees, pricing, and settlement
✤ contractual terms
✤ regulatory compliance
✤ system availability and uptime
Solved:
✤ is not a party to merchant-PSP contracts
✤ has no control over PSP actions, decisions, or performance
✤ does not guarantee approval, integration success, fees, or settlement speed
✤ assumes no responsibility for financial losses, declines, downtimes, or freezes caused by PSPs
Merchants enter into agreements directly with the PSP.
7. Technical Disclaimer
Solved does not provide:
✤ payment gateways
✤ APIs
✤ plugins
✤ integration modules
✤ fraud detection systems
✤ risk scoring tools
✤ chargeback mitigation systems
All technical systems belong to the respective PSPs or their technology partners.
We do not develop, maintain, or host any payment-processing infrastructure.
8. Website Content, Accuracy & Liability
All information on this website is provided without guarantee of accuracy, including:
✤ PSP features
✤ Pricing
✤ Risk categories
✤ Approval criteria
✤ Industry acceptance
✤ Compliance requirements
Although we strive to keep information current and correct, Solved accepts no liability for outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate content.
Under § 7–10 TMG, Solved is not obligated to monitor external data or third-party content.

Underwriting is the sole responsibility of the PSP.
11. Limitation of Liability (Haftungsbeschränkung)
To the fullest extent permitted under German law:
✤ Solved is liable only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence (§ 276 BGB).
✤ Liability for slight negligence is excluded except in cases of injury to life, body, or health.
✤ Solved is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including:

✤ PSP freezes
✤ chargebacks
✤ integration issues

Solved does not share personal data with PSPs without explicit merchant consent.

Solved does not claim ownership of third-party PSP trademarks.
Use of the Solved name or branding requires written permission.
